Aim :

    To calculate the area of a circle using formula in python.

Algorithm :

  • Get the required input from the user by using input statement for 'r'(radius of circle).
  • Calculate the area of circle using formula (3.14*r*r).
  • Display the result with the help of print statement

Program :

#calculate area of circle using formula in python
#r represents radius and get input from user
r = float(input("Enter the radius of a circle : "))

#calculate area of circle using formula (3.14*r*r)
Area_of_circle = 3.14*r*r

#Display the result using print statement
print("Area of circle is", Area_of_circle)

Output :

Enter the radius of a circle : 
10
Area of circle is 314.0
