Source Code

Aim :

    To calculate the perimeter of a triangle using formula in python.

Algorithm :

• Get the required input from the user by using input statement for 'a'(side one of triangle), 'b'(side two of triangle) and 'c'(side three of triangle).
• Calculate the perimeter of triangle using formula (a+b+c).
• Display the result with the help of print statement

Program :

#calculate perimeter of triangle using formula in python

#a represents side one and b represents side 2 and c represents side 3 and get input from user

a = float(input("Enter the side one of a triangle : "))

b = float(input("Enter the side two of a triangle : "))

c = float(input("Enter the side three of a triangle : "))

#calculate perimeter of triangle using formula (a+b+c)

Perimeter_of_triangle = a+b+c

#Display the result using print statement

print("Perimeter of triangle is", Perimeter_of_triangle)

Output :

Enter the side one of a triangle : 

5

Enter the side two of a triangle : 

5

Enter the side three of a triangle : 

5

Perimeter of triangle is 15.0
